Milk Post

I noticed this walking back from the supermarket yesterday. I'm still not quite sure what its for. Mailing milk? Getting milk delivered? Or did someone just decide to put the word "milk" on their mailbox...? Suggestions welcome.

    I think it might mean for milk to be delivered when the main store is closed? Just a guess. I wonder why it's in English and not Japanese.
